These
discussion groups educate and
invigorate theatre professionals
through the sharing of resources
and concerns. Roundtables are
scheduled upon request by staff
or Board members. Each year
more and more staff have the
opportunity to get together
with their peers at other theatres
to share their triumphs and
tribulations. Examples of roundtables
include education directors,
literary managers, box office
managers, outreach coordinators,
group sales directors, volunteer
coordinators, development directors
and costume shop managers.
Every
other year NJTA hosts a Board
President's Roundtable for board
chairs/presidents of member
theatres. Bi-monthly board meetings
serve also as an opportunity
for managing directors to get
together regularly to discuss
not only NJTA business but other
concerns facing the industry.
Marketing directors from member
and associate theatres also
meet on a bi-monthly basis and
form the core of NJTA's Marketing
Committee.
